Besides travelling I love arts & crafts too. And lately I found one that really suits me 🙂 it is the dreamcatcher making! I am sharing my frist ones with you guys. It’s not that hard and very calming, I recommend doing those to every crafty soul out there 😉
Hey, guys! It’s sunday and I had to try something new. I got this paint – it looks like normal black paint – but when it gets dry, you can pick up some chalk and write on it! So, I took a canvas & had a little fun with chalk paint and acrylics paint… 😊 Here is the result:
Oh, the last picture where it says: “Sonček, kupi kruh” it means something like: “Honey, can you buy some bread?” in Slovene… 🙂
Have a nice evening, everyone!
Today’s work … For all the travelers! 😉 40 x 60 cm, acrylics on canvas.
So, today I found blank kitchen board, got some paints and brushes and spice it all up with a quote I really love: Wake up! It’s adventure and coffee time😊
What do you think?
So, todays after work project was a gift for my dear friend. She loves blue color and the night sky, so I decided I will give my quoteart a touch of a fine night sky with a full moon. This is beginner painting so everyone can do it. Just follow those simple steps:
1. Pick your colors.
- Ocean blue (aqua)
- Black (lamp black)
- Blue (primary cyan)
2. Choose your canvas, brushes and a sponge.
I chose big canvas – 60 x 80 cm. And here is a funny thing – I used ordinary kitchen sponge. 🙂 If you have painting ones, use those instead, but the kitchen sponge can do the magic too. 🙂
3. Let’s get to work – background and the moon.
First, choose a circle where your moon it will be. I chose the right corner, because i need some space for long quote. Now get your sponge and draw some circles around the moon – you need to create 3D effect of a space. Than blend the colours together, so you can’t see the borders between them.
Now, take the white color mixed with water, put it on a bruch and shake it around the canvas so you get the illusion of stars. With swirling motion you can paint the moon too.
4. How to transfer any inscription you want from paper to canvas or wood.
Now, it’s time for you to find a quote on the internet and print it out. Or make your own design. 🙂 You will need a piece of chalk for next step, too. First, use chalk to cover the BACK SIDE of the paper, turn it around and use a pencil to outline the letters. When you remove the paper, the chalk marks will remain or canvas or wood. Then, just use your brush to make the words perfect! 🙂
5… The end!
So, here is the final work. If you find this useful, please leave a comment. 🙂
So, i started with a new hobby – acrylics painting on canvas. Seriously, I’m just a beginner but I’d like to share my work with you anyways. At least some true artist can get an idea, inspiration or just different, beginners look on painting. 🙂
ME TO YOU BEARS
Hi! I would like to share with you a simple idea for DIY personalized gifts. I loved those and all who got them were really happy. They are so easy to make everyone could do it and you only need simple supplies! You’ll need a wire (I used black one, 0.2 mm), pearls, letters and other jewelry making accessories.
So, here are some of my key chains, for example:
- It was for my mom (MAMI) – she said she wanted “peace on earht” for birthday present so I got her one! 🙂 It was a great joke and cherry on top to the whole gift.
2. Those were simple X-mas presents for my girls: Estera, Špela, Melita, Iza and Nika. I choose accessories thinking of their characters and what they like to do. 🙂 Let your imagination fly!! 🙂
